They buy at Pakistan prices. $13.50 is the number we are actually up against, and twelve of our sixteen styles can carry it. The four that can’t are all the same kind of garment — which is what makes this solvable.
Sort our sixteen styles by landed cost and they fall into two groups with nothing in between. The split isn’t men’s versus women’s, or game versus practice. It’s how many layers of fabric are in the garment.
Close enough to $13.50 that the upgrade is a conversation about a few dollars. Jerseys, shooters, shorts, skirts.
Double the fabric means double the penalty for using a better one. Pinnies and reversibles — the garments nobody judges on quality.
Every style against what LAXU actually pays today, at a 22% margin to us. The last column is the one that matters in the room — what it does to a real 24-piece team order.
There is no cheap Pakistan version of these three. Their only current option is already a premium one at $22.00–$24.50 — including the Nike Elite jersey. We come in under it at full margin.

Single-layer garments where we land within a couple of dollars of Pakistan. The increase is real — +12% to +28% — but small in actual dollars on a team order.

These work — but only quoted against the better version LAXU already buys, not the $13.50 base. Put them next to the wrong product and the number looks absurd.

On the seven focus styles where a comparison exists, the three that save them money more than cover the four that cost them more.
Not an increase — a saving. The jersey, cap sleeve and kilt land 18–32% under what they pay now, and that more than absorbs the shooters and the skirt going up.
Women’s short sleeve shooter on a 24-piece order. That is the largest number we have to defend anywhere on the focus list, and it buys a materially better shirt.
Tryout pinnies and standard reversibles. This isn’t a negotiating position — it’s arithmetic.
Our single-layer book averages $14.10 landed. Every dollar off that number moves a style from the park list to the focus list — without conceding anything to LAXU.
In order. The first two happen before anyone from Lacrosse Unlimited is in the room.
Our ten single-layer styles average $14.10 landed. Every dollar off that number moves a style from the park list to the focus list. With 91,838 combined units on the table, this is the cheapest margin available to us.
Don’t walk in with a number we can’t defend. Either re-spec them to a tryout-grade fabric near $11.50 landed, or tell them plainly to keep Pakistan on those four.
We know they buy 49,990 units a year. We do not know how much of that is pinnies. If the parked four are 40% of their volume, this is a much smaller program than it looks on paper.
Open on the jersey, the cap sleeve and the kilt, where we come in 18–32% under what they pay now. Establish that we are not the expensive option before a single number goes up.
